Those lists you see every month about the content coming to Netflix or to Amazon generate the same kind of comment, no matter how much the content changes: "These movies suck. I'm canceling my subscription."

Using Rotten Tomatoes' Certified Fresh rating as a guide, it found that although Amazon has over four and a half times more video in its library than Netflix, Netflix has the best-reviewed shows and movies on its service—596 to Amazon's 232. Percentage-wise, that works out to a very large discrepancy, with 15.5 percent of what's on Netflix getting a good rating versus 1.3 percent of what's on Amazon.
